JESUIT MISSION IN UPPER PULANGI, Malaybalay, Bukidnon
Brief History of the Jesuit Mission in Upper Pulangi PARISH OF OUR LADY, MARY MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACE
For a long time, the whole Province of Bukidnon was a Mission area of the Jesuits. For the past few years, most Jesuit parishes in the province had been turned over to the Diocesan Clergy. Since then, the focus of the mission of the Jesuits in Bukidnon was to reach out to the tribal communities who were being marginalized by the growing number of migrants from the Visayas.

In 1991, the Jesuit Mission in Upper Pulangi was founded to reach out specifically to the natives dwelling in the hinterlands of Bukidnon as well as in the neighboring province of Agusan del Sur.
